How to read the rehearsal
script:

Goals for workshop/reading:
This is a workshop/reading. I have
identified several sections (in blue) that I would like to stage
as fully as possible. The other parts of the text will be read,
but we will spend some time with them. Please be as comfortable
as possible with the entire text prior to starting rehearsals.
Rei will also have music for the
workshop/reading. She will come prepared to teach specific sections
as well as create underscoring for a lot of the piece. This is
a time for her to try out some musical ideas tht will be flushed
out for our full production in the 2009-10 season in Chicago.
Speaking of, please keep in mind
that this project is moving forward so if you would like to continue,
we should speak after this process. This is the first of a five-play
cycle that Peggy is creating.
